What is liquefaction?

Liquefaction is water that comes up out of the ground after an earthquake. When the earth shakes it releases the tiny particles of water and they come to the top.

WALHT work together and problem solve

Yesterday we completed our first Break Out! It is based on the escape rooms idea where we had to work together to solve some very complicated problems and breakout the loot that the evil Spyder was about to steal!

Lucky we saved the day with only 5:05 left on the clock!

Our solar car experiment

We tested and explored how solar power works. We loved making the solar cars drive around. They had to charge their solar panels by direct sunlight. When they drove into shadows they stopped working. This is because it didn't have the sunlight to make it work.

WALHT - carry out a science experiment

This week we have been exploring 'Science' to do with electricity.
We also explored circuits and how they work. We found that we can pass electricity through our skin and even when we cover the energy stick with our hair it can still reach our hands and pass through electricity.

We explored how switches work and even when we make the circuit bigger it does not affect how bright the light goes!
